Today I would like to introduce you the company called Robert Rothschild Farm. This company began as a family found business in Urbana, Ohio over thirty years ago and they are known for making delicious gourmet food products like dips, preserves, mustards, sauces, salsas, sweet toppings, delicious mustards and gourmet condiments.
You can purchase their gourmet products directly from their web site store and in retail establishments across the nation. You can find entertaining ideas and delicious easy to prepare recipes directly on their web site.
My Review: The company sent me a large bottle of their Roasted Pineapple & Habanero Sauce to review for all of you. This gourmet sauce is the perfect blend of roasted pineapples, mangos and habanero peppers. If you are thinking it will be spicy hot, think again! It has a subtle kick to it but definitely not mouth-burning.
The sauce can be basted onto all different kinds of fish, chicken, pork, ham or blend it into your favorite chicken or tuna salad recipe. If you need a tasty appetizer you can blend a few teaspoons of it into some softened cream cheese and serve it as a cracker spread or spread some onto some artisan bread. A very versatile sauce that can be used in many different ways.
For the review we decided to marinate some lean pork chops in the sauce for about 4 hours in the refrigerator. Once the chops were done marinating, we put them onto the grill and grilled each side for about 8 minutes, basting with the sauce in between. We also used some of the sauce straight from the bottle and basted it onto some corn-on-the-cob that we were also grilling. Once everything was done, we sat down for our dinner.
We love pork chops but we do get tired of having the same old pork chop recipe. Marinating the chops in this gourmet sauce added a nice fruity flavor to them with just a little bit of heat from the habanero peppers. Delicious! We also used some as a basting sauce on the corn-on-the-cob and let me tell you, that was equally delicious! Matter of fact, the family would rather have this yummy tasting sauce brushed on their grilled corn-on-the-cob than butter! yeah!!!!
We love this sauce and now that we tried it, we will be purchasing more!
