I love this recipe because it is super easy to make! You will need to purchase a boxed butter or vanilla cake mix (any brand will do), along with 2 (15 oz. cans of cherries in light syrup) to make the recipe.
Deep Dish Cherry Cobbler Recipe
2 (15 oz.) cans of cherries in light syrup
1/2 of a box of vanilla or butter cake mix (total of 9 oz. of dry cake mix)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pour the cans of cherries along with the syrup into a large 9" by 13" baking dish. Pour the 9 oz. of dry cake mix on top, then the cinnamon and vanilla extract. Use a spoon to stir everything together. Place baking dish into a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until cobbler is golden brown on top. Serve warm.
